How does the booking process work?

Booking your camper is super simple:  

1.⁠ ⁠Choose the type of camper you want, your travel dates, and pickup and drop-off locations. If you're not sure, we’re happy to assist you.  

2.⁠ ⁠We’ll send you a quote that you can confirm with a 30% deposit.  

3.⁠ ⁠The remaining balance is due before your trip begins.  

Important: Booking in advance ensures availability, especially during peak season.


Where can I pick up and/or drop off a camper? 

You can pick up and/or drop off your camper at the following locations:

  • Puerto Varas (no additional fee)
  • Puerto Montt Airport (+$35 USD)
  • Coyhaique (+$550 USD)
  • Puerto Natales (+$850 USD)

Please note that additional fees may apply depending on the location. If you're interested in picking up or dropping off at a different city in Chile, contact us for a custom quote and availability.


Is there a discount for long-term rentals?

Our prices are daily and vary depending on the number of days you rent, so if you take the camper for more than 14 days, you will access a special price.


Do I need to leave a deposit during the rental?

Yes, we ask for a 1,500 USD deposit as a guarantee. This amount is refunded at the end of your trip, as long as the camper is returned in good condition.  

You can pay it via bank transfer or credit card (a 3% fee applies for cards).


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:  

•⁠  ⁠Bank transfers  

•⁠  ⁠Credit card payments (with a 3% fee)

Do I need a special license to drive the camper? 

No, you just need:  

•⁠  ⁠A valid Class B driver’s license from your country  

•⁠  ⁠To be at least 25 years old  

•⁠  ⁠Experience driving manual vehicles


How does the insurance work?

All our rental prices include full coverage insurance to give you peace of mind during your trip. Here's how it works:

  • Major Damages or Accidents: If there is significant damage or an accident, the insurance will be activated to cover the repairs.
  • Minor Issues: For smaller damages, we may use part of the security deposit. The specific situation will determine how it's handled.
  • Insurance Deductible: The insurance has a deductible of approximately 1.000 euros.

Examples:

  • Covered Situations: If the windshield is damaged by a stone kicked up by another vehicle, the repair is covered by us. Similarly, if something inside the camper is damaged from normal use, we take care of it.
  • Evaluated Situations: If the camper is damaged by mistakenly entering an underground parking lot, we will evaluate whether to activate the insurance or cover the costs with the security deposit.


Pickup & Drop-off Times:

  • Pickup: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This includes a 45-minute training session to explain how to use the camper.
  • Drop-off: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The review and handover process takes about 15 minutes.

We kindly ask that you return the camper on time, as any returns after 4:00 PM will incur an additional rental day charge. If you require a different pickup or drop-off time, please contact us in advance to discuss your needs. We are happy to accommodate special requests, subject to availability and prior arrangement.

If you anticipate any delays on the pickup or drop-off, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can make the necessary adjustments.


What should I do if I have a problem during the trip?

We’re here for you! We offer phone assistance to help with any issues you may have during your adventure.


Is it possible to connect to the Internet in the campers?

Yes! If you're a digital nomad, we have the perfect option for you. You can rent a Starlink antenna, the best solution to stay connected while exploring Patagonia. Starlink provides fast, stable internet, even in the most remote areas, allowing you to work from anywhere.


Do I need to return the camper clean?

Yes, we kindly ask that the camper is returned completely clean, as it was provided. Otherwise, a $60 USD cleaning fee will be applied.
